“SYNTHETIC STREAMS”: Brasky Sets Sail @ Mermaid

We’d like to invite you out to what we hope will become a regular DJ + Video night at Mermaid Tavern (located in Seminole Heights area of Tampa).

Brasky appointed persons to-be-named will go on at 10 on Thursday and play till close. The occasion shall be hereafter known as Synthetic Streams. We’re excited to be getting out there to share some music (and videos) that we enjoy.

UPDATE: This week all proceeds will be going to the cause of Jered Dowden’s recovery from a recent car accident. Jered is the co-creator of Relief in Abstract Records and a good friend to us here at Brasky.

I am the creator of Brasky.org. Tampa is my hometown, where I attended USF and met most of the current collaborators on the site. Brasky is a project with friends - my day job is working professionally as a digital marketing consultant. Not as cool.

We are happy to hear he’s back home. We don’t know Jered well, but he’s made a great impression – easy choice to get involved. Thanks for the kind words.

This is Dustin, one of Jered Dowden’s brothers… I just wanted to update you all and let you know that while Jered was sent home to recover (because insurance only covered a week of live in therapy at a therapy center) with many months of physical therapy ahead to help him walk again and regain his balance, as well as to learn to use his hand again, he’s doing well and his spirits have truly been lifted by all that Brasky.org has done as well as everyone else who took the time to chip in towards his astonishing medical expenses insurance didn’t cover. If there is anyone who’d like to donate, OR just share the link it’s http://www.GiveForward.com/jereddowden Anything helps even just $5 as it all adds up quickly.
Thank you all again and God Bless
